Removal of Suction Anchors at Shelley Field
In March 2011 Sevan Marine ASA awarded a contract to Semar AS for removal of the 12 suction anchors at the Shelley Field. The anchors were used for the mooring of the Sevan Voyageur FPSO.

SEMAR recently signed a frame agreement with Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS to provide expertise in tasks related to the transport and installation of wind turbines.

General
Established in 1980, SEMAR is devoted primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry. However, in recent years also the upcoming offshore wind mill industry has become an important customer.
The technical personnel consist of highly qualified engineers, naval architects, master mariners, marine consultants and designers with extensive professional skills and experience. Thanks to the wide-ranging knowledge and competence of our personnel we can offer a comprehensive consultancy service for both practical and theoretical aspects of structures, vessels and systems.
Offices
At present SEMAR has two office locations. The main office is located in Lysaker, just outside Oslo, offering all the SEMAR engineering and marine services.
From the branch office at Vestbase in Kristiansund, we are able to offer local marine services to the many customers at this busy offshore base.

SEMAR is owned 50% by Dof Subsea ASA and 50% by members of its staff.
