Removal of Suction Anchors at Shelley Field
In March 2011 Sevan Marine ASA awarded a contract to Semar AS for removal of the 12 suction anchors at the Shelley Field. The anchors were used for the mooring of the Sevan Voyageur FPSO.

NAVAL ARCHITECT
For our Lysaker Office we apply for a marine engineer with a specific interest for hydrodynamic analysis in combination with design and installation of marine structures and constructions.
Type of position/Typical work tasks
- Mooring analyses using program MIMOSA (Drilling rigs, FPSO, (etc)
- Motion analyses using program WADAM.
- Marine installation analysis using program ORCAFLEX or SIMO.
- 3-D Simulation of marine operations using programs Inventor and 3-D Studio Max.
- Post-processing of results using in-house and external programs
- Preparation of Design Reports and Marine Installation Procedures.
- Participation in the preparation for offshore marine operations and mobilization.
- Prepare concept studies for marine installations.
- The position will report to Engineering Manager in our Analysis Department.
Qualifications
- Technical Marine Education M.Sc. or equivalent
- Interest in analytical work related to marine constructions
- Good command of English –oral and written
- Preferably minimum 5 years’ experience but newly educated persons will also be considered.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Flexible and eager to learn
