Deep Panuke
The Deep Panuke Offshore Gas Field, located 250 km east-southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia, at approximately 44 meters water depth. The Production Field Centre (PFC), a fixed jack-up platform, was de-installed and transported to sheltered inshore waters under an EPCDT contract (Engineer, Procure, Construct, De-install, and Transport). The main marine operations were carried out in the summer of 2020.
Semar, in collaboration with Kværner Canada Limited, secured the contract for de-installation using Boabarge 34. Semar was responsible for design, engineering, and supervision of the mobilization and offshore de-installation operations.
